Yala National Park Jeep Safari
Jeep will pick you up from the doorstep of the hotel at no additional charge. Yala is not exactly park; it’s the knowledge, comfort and the experience bring together in the wilderness. Watch a leopard flick its tail on a branch, see a baby elephant swim beside its parents across the lakes, and hold your breath as a gigantic crocodile glide into the muddy waters. Best time to spot a wild Leopard is in the early morning or in the late afternoon as the animal come out of the wild into the waterlands. Minneriya National Park Jeep safari
Minneriya National park is famous among the elephant lovers. Sluggish water and rich grassy flood plains and lush riverine forests attract these giants. Main objective is to witness the Elephant Gathering at Minneriya National park which is one of the remarkable wildlife events happen at a one place. During the dry season from July to the September herd of elephants starts moving towards Minneriya reservoir/ Tank where grasses are rich and water is no lack. Once they migrate to this water lands, they socialize, bathe, feed and mate. This behavior creates a large herd and at any given point you could see at least 300-400 elephants. If you are on the right place at the right time (Season) number can go up to 600-800. Usually Elephants are active from evening to the early morning. Hence evening safari would be your best chance of witnessing a large group.
Uda walawe National Park Jeep Safari
Uda walawe national park geographically and biologically mostly resembles an African game park. Highest population of the wildlife of Uda walawe is elephants. Leopards, buffalo, deer and sloth bear, mongooses, bandicoots, foxes, water monitor lizards and crocodiles can be seen around. Usually Safari Starts 06.00 am and 0230 pm which last long 3 hours. Unlike Minneriya Uda walawe is all year around park however the November to March migrant birds can be observed mostly.
Bundala Bird watching Safari
Bundala National Park is an internationally important wintering ground for migratory water birds in Sri Lanka. Bundala harbors 197 species of birds, the highlight being the greater flamingo, which migrate in large flocks. Bundala was designated a wildlife sanctuary in 1969 and read ignited to a national park on 4 January 1993. In 1991 Bundala became the first wetland to be declared as a Ramsar site in Sri Lanka. In 2005 the national park was designated as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO, the fourth biosphere reserve in Sri Lanka. The national park is situated 245 kilometers (152 mi) southeast of Colombo.
